Sorry I haven't finished entering the Moonboat story yet.
I know it was a long time ago and I was in the third grade when I wrote this, but I'm still proud that I took first place in the reading rainbow contest. At the bottom is a link to veiw the illustrations I created back then to go with the story. So here it is my store hope you like it.
"Little Moon Boat"

There is a little boat that floats on the water. His name is Little Moonboat. He was carring Shenderra Alleece across the seas water to Moon Island. One day on Moon Island we found a little animal. He called himself a piggle. He was so cute I caller him "Peewee". He had a purple tail, a red head and body, with a white tummy, with black stripes all over, and big green eyes. I saw that he had no family, so I asked Peewee"Do you what to be apart of my family?"
Peewee was so happy and said yes and he jumped into my arms, then we got into Moonboat together. Little Moonboat sailed away from Moon Island going out to sea. The night was coming so Moonboat covered us with His sail, Peewee chirped thanks to Little Moonboat.
While we were sailing some silly fish jumped over litlemoon boat. Those silly fish jumped out of the water and said hello, hello. Looking strait at me as they jumped then did it again, saying hello, hello, then once again hello, hello. Until I finally said hello, hello back. Those silly fish came up to the side of the boat poking their heads out of the water all together they said hello, hello.
I decided to ask them if they knew where Mermaid Island is? So I asked the silly fish, yes we know they all sang together.......
